On behalf of the Miss SL Tropics organization, I'm pleased to be able to announce the Top 20 women who will compete in the first annual Miss SL Tropics competition on Sunday, August 26, 2007.
They are, as you will see, sophisticated, stylish, gorgeous, bright and out to capture the title of Miss SL Tropics 2007!
Eighty-eight entrants submitted applications for consideration beginning in late July. Preliminary judges reviewed three portfolio photos of the entrants' choosing and a notecard response to a question posed by the judges. Candidates were judged on style/beauty, clothing selection, their response to the posed question and overall impressions, which included reviewing the entrants' SL profiles.
